Energy Communities
The Energy communities page shows how much of your consumption each of your energy communities covered and how much came from the public grid. For a feed-in meter, it shows how much of your feed-in each community took up and what went to the grid. You can use it to check the total your community reports to you against the readings of your own meter.
Note: The pricing page shows whether your plan includes per-community values.
What the page shows
A metering point measures either consumption or feed-in, so the page shows only the chart that matches the direction selected in the filter bar.
For a consumption meter you see "Consumption by origin". Above the chart are three totals for the selected period: "Consumption from energy communities", "Of which from renewable sources" and "Remaining grid consumption". The chart has one area per energy community, with "Grid consumption (remainder)" on top. Together the areas add up to the meter's measured consumption.
For a feed-in meter you see "Feed-in by destination". Each energy community has an area for the energy it took up from your feed-in, and "Grid feed-in (remainder)" shows the rest.
Below the chart, the "Participations" table lists each pair of energy community and metering point. "Known since" is the day we first detected the participation. The grid operator does not send us the date you joined the community. "Data through" is the most recent reading we hold for that participation.
When the page appears
The page shows up in the Data Analysis navigation once two things are true: your plan includes per-community values, and a participation in an energy community has appeared in the readings of one of your meters. We detect participations from the data the grid operator delivers, so there are no community IDs for you to maintain.
Requesting per-community values
The grid operator delivers per-community values only for metering points whose consent explicitly covers them. A meter that delivers standard metering data shows no per-community values, even if it takes part in several communities.
When you connect a meter, turn on the "Request per-community breakdown" toggle. For a meter that is already connected, an "Activate the per-community breakdown" button appears at the top of its detail page once the grid operator delivers energy-community data for that meter. We then send a new consent request to your grid operator, and your existing data connection keeps running in the meantime. If that request is rejected or expires, everything stays as it is. The "Per-community breakdown" section on the detail page shows how the switch is progressing. Either way, the metering point holder confirms the request in the grid operator's portal.
The per-community breakdown is only useful if the meter belongs to more than one community.
Reading the values
The grid operator decides how much energy is allocated to each community. We show its values and calculate no shares ourselves.
Values from the last 16 days can still change. The grid operator finalises the community values by the 16th calendar day at the latest and replaces provisional values until then. If your meter's readings for a day are still missing at that point, the meter does not take part in the community on that day, and readings delivered later no longer change this.
Missing readings are not zero. The totals above the chart add up only the readings available in the selected period. Where a total has no readings at all, it shows "Not delivered".
If a meter takes part in several energy communities, the chart shows each community as its own area.
Where else you find the values
Per-community values also appear in the measurement data table and in the "With EC column" export. The API, scheduled exports and all other automated outputs deliver whole-meter values only.
