Managing Meters
On the detail page of a meter you will find all management options. What is available depends on the current connection status.
Edit
You can change at any time:
- Label: A freely chosen name for your internal overview.
- Location: Assign the meter to a location.
- Customer assignment: Link the meter to a customer.
- External reference: A freely chosen ID for integration with external systems.
Not changeable after a consent request: The Zählpunkt number is fixed once a connection process has been started. If you made a mistake here, you need to delete the meter and create a new one. The energy direction, however, can be changed at any time.
Disconnect
With "Disconnect" you send a revocation message to your grid operator. The data flow is stopped, but the meter remains in your account with all data collected so far. You can reconnect it at any time.
Delete
"Delete meter" removes the meter permanently — including all stored measurement data. This action cannot be undone.
Deletion is only possible when the meter is not connected. Disconnect it first if it is still active.
Retry
If the consent process has failed — for example due to an invalid Zählpunkt number or an expired deadline — you can fix the error and restart the connection. Click "Retry" on the meter detail page.
Request historical data
For already connected meters you can trigger a request for historical data using the bulk actions. Select one or more meters in the overview and choose "Request historical data".
Available from the Starter plan.
Bulk actions
In the meter overview you can select multiple meters at once and assign delivery connections. This is useful when you want to connect many meters to the same webhook or MQTT broker.
