What is energiedaten?
energiedaten.at connects your smart meter to the applications you need for energy management. The platform retrieves your consumption data directly via the EDA network — Austria's official infrastructure for energy data exchange — and makes it available to you via webhook, API, CSV export, or MQTT.
What you can do with it
- Monitor your consumption: View your quarter-hourly readings in clear charts directly in the app.
- Forward data automatically: Connect your meter to your energy management system, building automation, or your own dashboard.
- Manage multiple locations: Consolidate all meters across your business or property portfolio in one place.
How the connection works
- You enter your Zählpunkt number — you'll find it on your electricity bill.
- We send a data request to your grid operator via the EDA network.
- You confirm consent in your grid operator's portal.
- From the next day onwards, your consumption data flows automatically.

Data privacy
Your data belongs to you. We store it on servers within the EU, do not sell it, and do not use it for our own purposes. You can revoke consent at any time. Learn more on our Data Security page.
