Understanding Your Energy Data
Energy Analysis turns the raw data from your smart meter into meaningful insights. Instead of individual readings you see trends, patterns, and key metrics — and can identify where you can save energy and costs.
The shared filter area
All pages of the Energy Analysis share the same filter area at the top:
- Select meter: Choose the smart meter you want to analyse. If you have multiple meters connected, you can switch between them here.
- Set time range: Use the predefined time ranges (last 7 days, 30 days, this month, last month, this year) or choose a custom range.
Charts always show data up to and including yesterday. Consumption values for the current day are only shown the following day, as data is transmitted overnight by the grid operator.
The five sections
Energy Analysis is divided into five sections:
- Overview: Your most important metrics and the benchmark comparison — your starting point.
- Load Profile: How your consumption changes over time — at different resolutions and with comparison options.
- Load Analysis: How your load is distributed — with a load duration curve and peak load overview.
- Consumption Patterns: Recurring patterns by time of day and day of week — as a heatmap and daily profile.
- Data & Export: Your measurement data as a table and CSV download, with information on data quality.
Next step
Start with the Overview — there you can see at a glance what your consumption looks like and where there is potential for optimisation.
