Changing Your Plan
You can change your plan at any time under Billing → Plan.
Upgrade
An upgrade takes effect immediately. The difference for the remaining billing period is calculated on a pro-rata basis and either credited to your next invoice or charged directly.
Once upgraded, you immediately gain access to the additional meters, connections, and features of the new plan.
Downgrade
A downgrade takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Until then, you retain all features of your current plan.
After the downgrade, the limits of the new plan apply. If you have more meters or connections active than the new plan allows, you will be asked to reduce your selection before the downgrade takes effect.
Billing interval

Business is available on annual billing only.
You can switch between monthly and annual billing. When switching from monthly to annual, the annual cycle starts immediately.
Cancellation
Cancel your subscription under Billing → Plan → Cancel. The subscription remains active until the end of the paid period.
After cancellation
Once the subscription expires, your account is reset to the Community plan:
- 1 meter remains active.
- Delivery connections (webhook, MQTT, etc.) are disabled.
- Data retention is limited to 90 days — data outside this window is deleted after a 30-day transition period.
Your Zählpunkt connections with grid operators are not affected and can be reactivated at any time.
