EDA maintenance window from 2 to 5 October 2026

From Friday 2 October 2026, 17:00 until Monday 5 October 2026, 9:00 (Vienna time), the EDA network is being updated; grid operators and service providers like us exchange energy data through it. We are halting all EDA operations for this period, and you should expect no new data to arrive. Data we have already stored remains available as usual. Our article What is Austria's EDA network? explains how it works.

You can still start new consent requests and revocations during the maintenance window. We store them and send them to the grid operators as soon as the window ends; the replies come only after that. The values from the weekend follow once the grid operators deliver them.

Afterwards everything works as before

For you, the process stays the same: consent, revocation and data retrieval work as before, and you do not need to do anything.

The update is driven by Austria's new Electricity Industry Act (ElWG). With the October update, the first rules for the new citizen energy models also apply in the EDA network, including self-consumption and peer-to-peer contracts. We summarised what the ElWG changes overall in our overview of the ElWG.
